Evaluation of cellular immunity in bovine brucellosis

چکیده
Evaluation of cellular immunity in bovine brucella seropositive animals has been preformed , using one invitro test , the leucocytes migration test " LMIT " and one invivo test , the skin reaction by using prepared brucellin form Brucella abortus strain RR51 .All these tests showed significant reactions and proved to be reliable tests for proper appreciation of cellular immunity in bovine brucellosis .

Comparative efficacy of serological diagnostic methods and evaluation of polymerase chain reaction for diagnosis of bovine brucellosis
The aim of present study was to compare the diagnostic performance of the different Brucella abortus antigen based serological and molecular tests such as Rose Bengal Plate Test (RBPT), indirect enzyme linked immunosorbent assay (I-ELISA) and polymerase chain reaction (PCR). Out of 89 samples, 44 were positive by I-ELISA, 18 by RBPT and 21 by PCR. Substantial agreement was observed between PCR ...
متن کاملA mathematical model for treatment of bovine brucellosis in cattle population
Brucellosis is an infectious bacterial zoonosis of public health and economic significance. In this paper, a mathematical model describing the propagation of bovine brucellosis within cattle population is formulated. Model analysis is carried out to obtain and establish the stability of the equilibrium points. A threshold parameter referred to as the basic reproduction number $mathcal{R}_{0}$ i...
متن کاملRecombinant VirB5 protein as a potential serological marker for the diagnosis of bovine brucellosis.
The molecular tag vaccine against Brucella abortus and serological testing are the main methods of prevention of brucellosis used currently. They can discriminate vaccinated animals and humans from those naturally infected. In this study, we constructed a gene deletion mutant strain, B. abortus S19 virB5 with a molecular tag. Recombinant VirB5 was expressed and purified for evaluation as a diag...
متن کاملEvaluation of Regulatory T Cells in Patients with Acute and Chronic Brucellosis
Background: Brucellosis is one of the most common chronic diseases, with widespread distribution. In spite of cell-mediated immunity (CMI) modulated mainly via activated T-helper type 1 (Th1) cells, brucellosis can advance to chronic disease in about 10-30% of cases. Regulatory T cells (Treg cells) are involved the immune response to brucellosis; however, their role, particularly in...
متن کاملExpression of cytokine and apoptosis-related genes in bovine peripheral blood mononuclear cells stimulated with Brucella abortus recombinant proteins.
Brucellosis is a clinically and economically important disease. Therefore, eradication programs of the disease have been implemented in several countries. One hurdle in these programs is the detection of infected animals at the early stage. Although the protein antigens as diagnostic antigens have recently received attention, the exact mechanisms at the beginning of immune responses are not yet...
